Living: 30 Days of Martha

Living: 30 Days of Martha is an installation created for the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle, WA.  For this piece, I completed every project, every recipe, and followed any advice that Martha Stewart presented on her television show, Martha Stewart Living for one month.  The installation consisted of evidence from my labors; the various craft projects I completed, the food I cooked and baked, the exercises I endured and receipts from the money I spent.  I documented my efforts and four videos, one per week, played out the evidence.  The installation was shown originally at Bumbershoot and subsequently at Western Bridge and is now in the collection of the Seattle Art Museum.
